The OSU Alumni Club of Southern Arizona provides your Tucson connection to The Ohio State University:
- At the Viscount Suite Hotel, 4855 E Broadway, our home away from home. From a Washington Buckeye, Sara Mottaz, We had a great time at The Game. First Gamewatch of the Season
Just a reminder that the first OSU Football Gamewatch of the year is on a Thursday, September 2 at 4:30 pm.
Find us a Wilbur's in the Viscount Suite Hotel, 4855 E. Broadway. As usual, get ready for the great waitstaff, the 50/50 raffle, and, oh yeah, some spectacular Buckeye Football. Go Bucks!
New Member Welcome Party
The Fox and Hound Grill, 7695 N. La Cholla, went all out with servers dressed in OSU clothes and lots of OSU balloons decorating the tables and bars at this year's New Member Welcome Party. As part of our August 3rd Friday Happy Hour at the Fox and Hound Pub and Grill, the event attracted 35 new and "old" members of the OSU Alumni Club of Southern Arizona. Go Bucks!
Join or Renew Membership
August is a great time to join our OSU Alumni Club of Southern Arizona or renew your membership. Our Membership Year is August to August. We appreciate your support! Your dues payments and contributions fund our Alumni Club Scholarship, Website, Newsletters, Teacher of the Year Award, Annual Spring Luncheon, Autumn Picnic, and the cost of mailings. $15 for Individual Membership, $18 for Family Membership. Thanks to Club Member/Volunteer Lisa Nelson, we will have a new Alumni Club T-Shirt this fall! We will have a few sizes of the t-shirt available to try on for sizes at the first two Gamewatches.
You can order men's sizes S through 5X and women's XS throught 3X. Cost is $15, extra for plus sizes. Information on the T-Shirt Design Competition specifications are below.
"Dry" T-Shirt Contest Specs.
Deadline to submit a t-shirt design is Wednesday, September 1 at 3 pm MST. There will be a contest during the first half of the first Gamewatch, beginning at 4:30 pm, Thursday, September 2 at the Viscount Hotel, 4855 E. Broadway. All entries will be voted upon for the winning design. Anyone can enter.
Entries must be submitted in a high pixel jpeg or tif, or on Corel, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
Your options include up to 3 colors on one side and 1 to 2 colors on the other.
If you choose to use a University logo, it must be the (attached) block O logo approved for the Alumni Association.
Our Club does not have a club logo, as of yet. This allows for greater creativity.
Display your design on one of these t-shirt color choices: cherry red, gray, or white.

The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from College Traditions and a T-Shirt with your design in the size of your choice.
